We are witnessing the conflict and rising of tensions in the Middle East and around the world. We are hearing about growing acts of violence and vandalism against religious, cultural and ethnic groups, which sadly echo past historic tragedies.
In light of the alarming increase in anti-Jewish and anti-Muslim acts that are occurring across the globe, it is incumbent upon leaders to use their positions of influence to speak out now against acts of Islamophobia and Antisemitism, especially in light of our commitment to anti racism, Diversity and Inclusion, that is so central to our values.
This is not about taking sides, but expressing our solidarity with our Jewish and Muslim brothers and sisters and conveying our unwavering commitment to standing beside them in the face of these ugly attacks. By doing so, we send a powerful message that hate has no place within our communities.
