For more than three decades, I have dedicated my career to leadership in international education, serving as an educator, head of school, and strategic advisor. I have worked closely with schools and boards around the world, contributing as a consultant, coach, speaker, and writer. Since 2010, I have shared perspectives on leadership, governance, and mission-driven schools through my blog.

I served for record tenure of 13 years as Director of the International School of Prague, a leading international school, where my work focused on mission-aligned strategy, innovation in teaching and learning, and building a culture of professional growth. Earlier in my career, I served as Director of the American International School of Bucharest, leading the transition to a new, purpose built unified campus and strengthening strategic planning, community engagement, and advancement. I have also taught and led in schools across the United States, Europe, and South America.

My governance experience includes serving twice as Chair of the ECIS Board of Trustees and Chair of the CEESA Board of Directors, supporting boards in strengthening effectiveness, alignment, and long-term strategic direction.

I currently serve as a Senior Leadership Search Executive with International Schools Services (ISS), partnering with boards to identify and recruit exceptional school leaders worldwide, and advising on leadership transitions and organizational alignment.

Across all of my work, I bring a deep understanding of schools as complex, mission-driven organizations, along with a commitment to thoughtful leadership, strong governance, and the long-term success of international school communities.
